There are several ways you can help support Fertility Alberta Advocacy & Outreach Association’s goal of increasing access to fertility care in Alberta.
Email the Minister
Alberta is one of two provinces in Canada with no public fertility funding. The cost of needed fertility care is out of reach for many Albertans.
Fertility treatments should not be a privilege that is only available to those who can afford it. If you agree, send an email to Alberta’s Minister of Health to tell her that publicly funded fertility care is important to you.

Making a difference couldn’t be easier!
Advocate for Benefits at Work
Does your employer provide benefits for fertility treatments and/or medications? Less than half of Canadian employers provide family building benefits!
If you would like to advocate at work for better benefits Fertility Benefits Matter has created tools to empower you with the information you need to ask your employer for comprehensive fertility benefits. On their site, you will find step-by-step toolkits for both employees and employers to help advocate for fertility and family-building coverage at work.
